Balloon Joy Flights is a small family owned hot air balloon NSW passenger company run by Graham, Jan and Anton Kerr in Canowindra NSW Australia.
Canowindra is the balloon capital of Australia and the historic home of Hot Air Ballooning in Australia because the atmospheric wind conditions are the most favourable for all year hot air ballooning. We have been flying balloons in Canowindra for over 35 years. The magic of hot air ballooning is alive today and we look forward to you flying with us soon.
Balloon Joy Flights has been a Commercial Balloon Flight Operator Since 1988
We have held our own Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) continuously since 1988. This gives our passengers the security of being covered by the Commonwealth Government Air Carriers’ Liability Act. This is the same for all commercial airlines and Charter Operators in Australia.
Canowindra, NSW is known as the Hot Air Balloon Capital of Australia as it is considered one of the best places to hot air balloon in Australia. Hot air ballooning is one of the most popular things to do in Orange NSW region. During April and early may the Canowindra International Balloon Challenge is a highlight of the year, and culminating in the vibrant Cabonne Community Glow where hot air balloons light up the night sky.
